Suspected Wagah attack mastermind killed in Lahore encounter



LAHORE: Suspected Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) member Roohullah, along with two others was killed in an alleged encounter with the police in Lahore early on Saturday morning,Express News reported.

According to initial details, police and security forces had conducted a joint raid on a suspected militant hideout on Burki road.

In the ensuing confrontation, Roohullah, also known as Qureshi Commander, and two of his companions were killed.

Officials claimed that Roohullah, who hailed from Bajaur Agency, was a member of Mullah Fazlullah’s TTP group and he was the group’s commander in Lahore. They added that he was involved in the November 2014 Wagah border attack.
