New chapter in Saudi-Iraqi ties



Iraqi President Fuad Masum receives at his residence in Riyadh on Wednesday Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal. Masum, who arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday night, discussed bilateral and regional issues with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. The Iraqi president expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom and “meet his brother the King.” Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz, deputy crown prince, second deputy premier, special envoy and adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, held a dinner reception in honor of the Iraqi president. Masum also received on Wednesday Chief of General Intelligence Prince Khalid Bin Bandar, and a number of Arab ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. — SPA
