NDMA to evacuate stranded tourists from Naran


ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is making arrangements for evacuation of the stranded tourists, other people from Naran-Kaghan.

According to a message of NDMA, the authority was hiring the services of helicopters to evacuate the stranded tourists and other people from the area.

The NDMA, in collaboration with with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan Army, was monitoring the situation in Naran-Kaghan. However due to hostile weather situation the activity will take place in day light.

The NDMA has also requested National Highway Authority (NHA) for immediate mobilization of heavy machinery to clear the road situation.
