President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan on Tuesday said that India wants to divert the attention from its continued state terrorism in Indian occupied Kashmir by attacking the Kashmiri nation and Pakistani forces on the Line of Control (LoC).
“The United Nations, in its stagnated diplomatic stance, has failed to resolve the Kashmir issue as it is under undue Indian pressure,” Khan said in an exclusive interview with Geo News. “Another proposition of the Fact-Finding Mission against human rights violations should be submitted to the Human Rights Council.
The US has declared a Kashmiri liberation movement as a terrorist organisation on the basis of its ties with India, he said.
“As per the US law, it can only declare that an organisation is a terrorist group if its agenda clashes with American interest,” Khan said in an exclusive interview with Geo News. “The Kashmiri nation itself is oppressed by Indian atrocities and only fighting for its rights.”
He said that a new wave of liberation has emerged after Burhan Wani’s and the chain of sacrifices for the mission continues in the face of Indian oppression.
Discussing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project, he said that India is unable to digest Pakistan’s economic progress.
“Azad Kashmir too, is now part of the CPEC and the power project and expressway are all part of the project,” he said. “Although India itself is a member the One Road project with China, it is unable to absorb the fact that Pakistan is fast moving towards economic prosperity.”
