According to India’s new allegation, at least 20 Pakistani troops and Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists killed 5 Indian soldiers between Monday midnight and 1 am on Tuesday by. According to the Army, 10-12 soldiers of 21st Battalion of the Bihar Regiment, which is deployed in the sector, along with a few from the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment were patrolling the border on Monday night when they were ambushed at Chakan da Bagh by the Pakistani intruders.
Pakistan’s military spokespersons recorded their statements with the AFP in Islamabad, saying, “No Pakistani troops neither crossed into India nor carried out any unprovoked firing. The Indian allegations are totally baseless”. They said, “There was no such incident whatsoever,” he said. “There was no firing on the border.” The allegations are “baseless and unfounded.”
Chaudry Nisar has blame Indian Media as well, he said that Pakistan wants peace and security in the region but the blame game being undertaken by Indian media is spoiling the atmosphere for normalization of relations.
But Indian Media known for its it’s cheap stunts whenever it comes to hate-mongering against Pakistan, has forsaken the standard journalistic procedures again. India Today stands on top of the chart, for creating sensational news, that turn out to be baseless in time. India Today claimed on authority of its intelligence sources that Hafiz Saeed had visited Poonch two days before the deadly Ambush took place. The sources claimed that Saeed met soldiers from either the 801 or 802 Mujahid Battalion and several Lashkar commanders, including Tariq Mohammed Anwar, who headed the operation.
It’s an irony that such sources did not bother to further any information to their own military or even their Government, that is still unsure upon any such allegations. It seems that the Indian Media, their opposition party and their government remained confused about the attackers, as at first they claimed that Pak Army itself was behind these attacks, then they changed their verdict into, ‘it was some wing of Armed forces named as Mujahideen 801’, later when Indian Defence Minister Mr. Antony, under the pressure of India’s extremist party came out with a statement that ‘”the ambush was carried out by approximately 20 heavily armed terrorists along with persons dressed in Pakistan Army uniforms,” this India Today came up with the spiced story of Hafiz Saeed visiting the Poonch outpost at the LoC.
Apparently India Today’s claim stands false, as JuD’s official twitter account responded on this quickly and busted Indian Media’s and Indian intelligence deliberate demonizing of Pakistan and JuD.
