RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army on Friday refuted Indian claims of killing Pakistani soldiers at the Working Boundary, calling them baseless.
According to the ISPR, the Indian claim of killing Pakistani soldiers is part of a propaganda campaign to hide their losses.
“Indian propaganda is aimed to divert world attention from the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir,” the statement said.
According to Indian media reports, the Indian Border Security forces killed 15 Pakistani Rangers men in retaliatory fire across the border.
Since days, exchange of fire between India and Pakistan has ensued along the Working Boundary and the Line of Control.
The Indian forces have resorted to persistent unprovoked firing across the Line of Control, violating the ceasefire agreement multiple times.
On Thursday, a woman was martyred and seven were wounded due to unprovoked Indian firing along the WB.
On Thursday morning, five civilians were injured due to unprovoked Indian firing and shelling in Harpal and Chaprar sectors. The exchange of fire via both light and heavy weapons had begun Wednesday night and continued for 11 hours, the ISPR had said.
