NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A drone attack in North Waziristan’s Datta Khel area on Tuesday killed six people and injured five others, Express News reported.

According to sources, the drone fired two missiles at a house and a vehicle near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Sources added that the drone strike took place around 12:30pm.

This is the third drone attack in the past 36 hours. At least eight people were killed and four others injured in a drone strike in the Bari Mail area of Shawal in North Waziristan late on October 6.

On October 5, at least five people were killed and two injured in a similar attack in North Waziristan Agency’s Shawal area.

Imran Khan condemns the drone strike

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has condemned the drone strike in North Waziristan on Tuesday evening, Express News reported.

Terming the drone strike as attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty, PTI chief said that the rulers have failed to protect the sovereignty of the country.

Claiming that there is a common hatred against the drone attacks all over the world, Imran said “Murder of Muslims at the hand of United States is shameful.”
