Brussels airport explosion: Terror attack fears after two blasts force passengers to flee terminal


Two explosions have been seen at Brussels airport, with passengers fleeing the terminal.

Early reports suggested explosive devices detonated near to the American Airlines check-in desk.

Hundreds of travellers fled the airport in terror and a cloud of smoke was seen above.

The airport is said to be on “lock down” with all flights cancelled and rail traffic towards the Belgian airport suspended.

Hundreds of people can be seen in a video fleeing the airport, as smoke billows from the building.
